Sigma's New Cleansing and Polishing Tool!

I have always wanted to try the other more expensive cleansing tools but at $149 bucks a pop I have never been able to afford it. That's why I'm sooo excited about Sigma's new Cleansing and Polishing tool! It's so incredibly affordable. I cannot wait to try it.
Please use this link to check it out and purchase: http://www.sigmabeauty.com/?Click=102112, or click on the Sigma banner above the followers on the right side of the blog.
Here's what Sigma Beauty is saying about the New Brushing and Polishing Tool:
"Not only is the Cleansing and Polishing Tool a great product overall, but there are two main advantages to buying this product over the competition: the rotating brush heads and the price! The specially designed brush heads rotate to fully cleanse and exfoliate your skin, leaving it flawless. For only $39, you will receive the cleansing tool, a storage case, and three unique brush heads! That is about a fourth of the cost for similar products on the market!"

All This For Under 10 Bucks!

Yes, that's right. That's nine products for $10.35 with tax and shipping. I ordered them from e.l.f. (eyes, lips, face) I read that you can find this brand in Target and some drugstores but I have yet to see them. Most likely because I haven't actually looked. Their products range from $1 to I believe it was $6. With the majority of their products priced at $1. I was skeptical. I mean come on their only $1 how good could they be. I haven't had a chance to sample more than two of the lip glosses. One was the Plumping Lip Glaze in Wink Pink and it seemed to have the same effect as its higher priced drugstore competitors. It gave a minty tingly sensation that did plump my lips a little. Not bad for a buck right? The other being the Hypershine Lip Gloss in Fairy, that I'm still wearing now and I'm loving. It has a soft vanilla flavor. Another dollar product.
Here's what I got:
Hypershine Lip Gloss in Fairy
Lip Plumping Glaze in Wink Pink
Lip Plumping Glaze in Oasis
Lip Plumping Glaze in Fuchsia Fanatic
Lip Plumping Glaze in Mauve Berry
Waterproof Eyeliner Pen in Black
Lipstick in Seduction
Fan Brush
Free Gift of Brightening Eye Quad (All the colors are actually very pigmented)

When I get a chance to try them all I will give a full review. The Mailman just dropped them off, but I couldn't resist sharing a little.

My Quest for Subscribers and Followers

So,for several days now I have been petitioning my poor friends, family, and innocent people of Twitter to Subscribe or follow my blog. Actually, I think its safe to say that I haven't really been petitioning, rather "harassing" them to do one or the other. I've inquired to the universe,"How do you get people to subscribe!?" (The universe hasn't gotten back to me, busy with more pressing matters I suppose) I can always go the Youtube route but I'd rather not sit in front of a camera, I'm very happy with my place behind it. Then this morning BLAM! common sense hit me, write about more interesting stuff! Hello, McFly! Nobody cares about your friggin' trip to Target. LOL
So, I'm gonna try and talk about more interesting topics. I can't promise though that there will not be a random blog post about my most recent money saving trip. I can't help myself, its exciting to save so much money. I've gotta sign off though, there is a toddler in my yard with a water hose between his legs yelling "Orale!" to some Hispanic roof workers. Who teaches him this stuff? Oh yeah, Uncle and Papa. Geez! Well, till next time.

Eco-Emi

In my search for Birchbox videos on YouTube I came across Eco-Emi. Eco-Emi is similar to Birchbox in that they send you monthly samples beautifully wrapped. The big difference though is that Eco-Emi sends only green, organic, vegan, earth friendly products, like make up, foods, skin and body care, and even jewelry and small accessories made from earth friendly product. They are packaged in Earth friendly materials as well. I really like the idea of this, and hope that I will find some quality products that I will continue to use. I've been interested in going green for a while but have been confused about what's truly green and put off by the higher prices of these products. Excited to see where Eco-Emi leads me. I also need to add that Eco-Emi is slightly more expensive than Birchbox but this is to be expected as they send more products and the prices of green and organic products are generally higher.

To TestTube or Not to TestTube?

This is a big question on my mind lately. The NewBeauty TestTube is a tube (literally) filled with deluxe samples and a couple full size products that comes out seasonally. It is quite a bit more pricey than my new obsession the Birchbox but its only four times a year. You pay $29.95 plus shipping which is $8.95, I believe. For me these are big splurges as I like good prices not over the top expensive. Not, to say that I wouldn't be buying this stuff if my pocket was a little fatter. LOL. However, I like the idea of being able to try out these high priced products for around 38 bucks every couple months, you know walk in the shoes of my wealthier contemporaries. So, I suppose I'll let you know when I finally make up my mind if I can stretch my budget to include the New Beauty TestTube.

UPDATE: I have decided against ordering The New Beauty TestTube as it seems to be marketed toward older woman and seems to have mostly anti-aging things. At 25 that is not one of my main concerns. Well, and I can't afford it. Especially since June is a big month as far as birthdays, Father's Day, and a Babyshower. So no TestTube for me.

Birchbox!?

I just found out about a service called Birchbox. It sounds totally awesome. What they do is send you a box of deluxe samples of higher end beauty products. All are beautifully wrapped in colored paper, and tied with ribbon. How awesome to get a present of deluxe samples every month for only $10 bucks a month. The samples are well worth this price if not over it. I have signed up for this awesome service and I will very happily fill you in on what comes in my June Birchbox!

Wanna try Birchbox too? Here's the link: https://www.birchbox.com/

TRESemme Color Revitalize

So, I'm wrote a little about my BzzCampaign for TRESemme. I was really excited about it. So it did come just in time for me to dye my hair with my John Frieda Color Foam and start using it to see how well it preserved my color. I have to say that right after my first use I was not happy. My hair had this sticky stringy feeling to it, and was really knotted. I continued to keep using it because I wanted to be able to give a good honest review and not just give it up after the first use. I do like how inexpensive the TREsemme brand is and I do use their Heat Protection products so I kinda really wanted the shampoo and conditioner to work out as it would be nice to save some money on shampoo and conditioner. Not, that I spend a massive amount on shampoo and conditioner anyways just I guess you can say that the Pantene I use now is in the pricier bracket as far as Drug Store beauty is concerned. Well after a week I had, had enough. My hair is fine so it not hard to mess it up. I was tired of the constant knots and dryness and the weird sticky residue I had after every shampoo. So, in my own opinion not a good buy. I'll stick to my beloved Pantene, which has been my hairs best friend for a good 15 years now. I do know some people who love TRESemme. So, its all in what you like. Need some coupons for TRESemme? Leave me comment I have several. :)

(I am a BzzAgent and I received this product for free to review)

Good Deal at Target

Yesterday I went out and got two boxes of John Frieda Hair Color and a bottle of Suave Dry Shampoo and only paid $5.26 when my total was originally $26.72! Was pretty proud of myself. LOL. Here's how: I had two Manufacturer's Coupons for $5 off, and two Target Coupons for $5 off and a coupon for one free Suave Professional product.

John Frieda Hair Color $11.99
Manufacturer Coupon:$5.00 off
Target Coupon: $5.00 off
Total: $1.99 (yay!)

Target Shopping Trip with Coupons

So, I finally went on a trip to shop with my coupons. I have to say that I was rather nervous as I've read about people being treated badly as soon as they pulled their coupons out. So, I get to Target with my list and all my coupons. This particular trip was made a bit of a pain by the fact that my local Target is being remodeled and everything was in a different spot and harder to find. Was thankful that I shop with a list or I probably would have forgotten most of the items that I really needed, in my confusion. So I got everything on my list and I was proud of myself because there were only two or three items that I didn't have any coupons for. All in all I saved $45 which to me is awesome, EVERY penny counts. That was 45 extra dollars that I had to get my Mother something awesome for Mother's Day. It was a great shopping trip and I found it to be great fun. I had a great cashier who was very friendly and we talked about the TLC show Extreme Couponing as she rang me up. :)
